Spherical Harmonics

Spherical Harmonics is a collection by new artist Steinerkadabra. The limitied collection shows off an artististic impression of the changing structure of pulsating stars. In its core, such stellar pulsations are described by spherical harmonics - a family of functions that appears often in natural science. 

This collection features a limited number of high quality 3000x3000 (px) files that come either as picture of a single stars or a 20 seconds recurring video of one star. Every piece of the collection has a combination of different traits: The colour style, the number of included frequencies, and the maximum value for the mode degree.
